September 21st 2020, 8:53 a.m. and 91% battery.

So this is an oddly weird time, if you can even say that.

This Corona, let me tell you.. It is really doing some work.

I’m not sure if this will end at any point. Maybe this is the ‘new’.

Finishing these years with a weird sense of confusion on one hand and clarity on the other.

Is that not an inevitable part of life. The rise and fall. Up and down. Left and right. All around.

See, if we plan the path then we choose the end result. So much of the beauty of life lies in the unknown which is by far one of the hardest places to live in. I’m not going to even lie.

So how do we make this now, the now? That we have chosen without manipulating the path.

How do we leave enough questions closed in order to find peace yet enough open to live?

Does this balance even exist? Honestly, I am not sure.. I think it's a matter of choices intertwined with fate.. The chicken or the egg.. What is stronger? Do they contradict?

So I read an interesting article that states that religion does not contradict science, however I am not yet convinced. Not that I think that they do, I’m just not sure they don't. Still Checking.

I can say that I have come acquainted with both opinions - that, that is disconnected from reality as we live it and that, that is dis-connected from an external force greater than us.

Honestly, it's so hard yet rewarding to be human. On one hand, you realize that you could have been born a cow or a cockroach, for that matter. Yet, in this life, you are born human.

With the ability to talk.. And walk.. And eat.. And dance.. And think and sing. And swim and read.. And talk.. Oh, I said that. And pick the fruit with your hands off the tree.. or a bush..

How lucky are we? To be conscious of our existence. To have freedom of choice. Of speech.

How lucky are we? To be able to influence the world in ways that many other creatures can’t.

How lucky are we? Do you feel lucky? I do. And I believe that it will do us good to feel lucky.

Luck is not a thing that happens to you. It’s a conscious choice that we make. Out of bravery.

That magical thing that happens when we do the right thing. When WE choose our own fate.
